What "Cabrera" covers at this price
Cabrera is the cliff town at the far eastern end of the north coast, past Río San Juan, where the land drops into the sea and the properties are mostly private estates rather than hotels — Orchid Bay, Abreu and the villas along the cliff road, plus Playa Diamante and Playa Grande de Cabrera below. Almost everyone we drive here is heading to a rented house, so the booking hinges on the villa name, the estate and the caretaker's number. It is a long, quiet run: the last stretch is rural, the turnoffs are easy to miss in the dark, and a driver who has been given the right contact will have the gate open when you arrive.
