What matters on a cruise transfer

Amber Cove is the Carnival-built cruise port on Maimón bay, about 30 minutes west of the airport, used by Carnival, Princess, Holland America and partner lines. Two things make this different from a hotel transfer. First, the clock: the gangway closes at a fixed time and no ship waits, so we set the pickup from your boarding window and, for tight arrivals, tell you plainly if the timing is too thin. Second, the meeting point: private vehicles cannot reach the pier, so drops and pickups happen at the terminal's ground-transport area, where the driver stands with your name on a sign. On days with two ships in port the access road backs up, and we build that into the plan.

How the Amber Cove cruise terminal pickup runs

2. 2We reply with the written price and a pickup time set against the gangway, not the landing.
3. 3After immigration and baggage, walk out to arrivals and look for the sign with your name.
4. 4Direct drive to the Amber Cove ground-transport area, where the terminal walkway starts.

Hotels, villas and drop-off points

There is no hotel to confirm here — send the ship name and the boarding or docking time instead. If you are staying a night on the coast before sailing, we can book both legs together.

Drop-off and pickup are at the terminal's ground-transport area outside the main building. Private cars are not permitted alongside the ship. For pickups the driver waits there with your name sign from the time the ship clears.

Bigger groups

7–14 passengers ride in a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP for this zone. Golf bags, strollers, wheelchairs and surf gear are fine — give us the luggage count and we send the right vehicle instead of guessing at the curb.
