For an arrival transfer, use the scheduled local arrival date at Puerto Plata Airport (POP). For a round trip, the return flight date is the local date your flight departs POP, not the date you reach home. Hotel pickup date and time must be agreed separately. With connections, identify the flight landing at POP and the first flight leaving POP.
Read the date beside the correct airport
Check the latest itinerary from your airline. JetBlue explains that departure times use the departure city's local time and arrival times use the destination's local time. Read the date beside POP rather than copying the date at the start of the whole trip. Do not convert a local airport time again using your phone's home time zone. If a calendar app displays a different zone, confirm the airport-local date with the airline.
After midnight: an example, not a flight schedule
These examples use YYYY-MM-DD dates and are hypothetical. A flight departs on 2026-11-17 and lands at POP at 00:35 on 2026-11-18: enter 2026-11-18 for the arrival transfer. By contrast, if it lands at 23:50 on 2026-11-17 and you collect your bags after midnight, the scheduled flight arrival date remains 2026-11-17. Landing time and the time you reach the driver are different events.
The return flight date is not automatically the pickup date
Suppose your flight leaves POP at 00:40 on 2026-12-01. Enter 2026-12-01 as the return flight date. Depending on your hotel and the agreed airport arrival buffer, pickup may be on 2026-11-30. Ask for both the pickup date and the pickup time in writing; do not assume they share the flight's calendar date. This example does not set a pickup time or replace your airline's check-in requirements.
Which flight number matters when you connect?
For the arrival leg, provide the flight number of the final segment that actually lands at POP, together with its local arrival date. For the return leg, provide the first flight departing POP, not a later connection to your home airport. Include the airline name. If your documents show different marketing and operating flight numbers, share both when you are unsure so the relevant flight can be identified.
What if a delay moves the arrival into the next day?
Distinguish a delay from a new booking. For an already arranged transfer, send the original flight number and scheduled date with the updated arrival estimate, explicitly mentioning the date change. Do not assume that silently changing a date creates a confirmed revised pickup. If the airline rebooks you onto another flight or airport, send the new details and ask for written confirmation of the transfer arrangements.
A final check before sending the form
Check POP as the airport, the arrival flight number and local arrival date, the full hotel name and address, and the passenger count. For a round trip, also check the flight departing POP and its local departure date. Use a full date and a clear 24-hour time when clarifying details. Confirm a hotel arrival after midnight with the accommodation as well: the transfer booking does not determine which hotel night you need.
