Where Iberostar Costa Dorada sits and where we stop

Iberostar Costa Dorada is not inside the Playa Dorada complex — it sits in the Costa Dorada pocket a couple of minutes further along the highway, with its own entrance and security post. It is the same zone rate and roughly the same drive time, 10 to 15 minutes from POP, but the two areas get mixed up constantly and a driver aiming at the wrong gate costs you fifteen minutes with the bags in the car. We write Costa Dorada on the job sheet. Star Prestige guests are dropped at the correct reception — tell us which room category you booked.

How the pickup works

1. 1Send your flight number, date and party size on WhatsApp — we confirm the price in writing.
2. 2We track the flight, so a delay or an early landing does not change anything.
3. 3Your driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, just past customs.
4. 4Direct 10–15 minute drive east on the Carretera Luperón to the Iberostar Costa Dorada security post and lobby.

Bigger groups and luggage

Up to six passengers ride in one Standard vehicle at $35. For 7–14 passengers we send a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP. Send the luggage count with the booking — golf bags, strollers and car seats are all fine, we just size the vehicle before the day instead of at the curb.
