Where Gran Ventana sits and where we stop

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort is on the beach side of the Playa Dorada complex, a 10 to 15 minute run from POP along the Carretera Luperón. Arrivals here are simple as long as the driver knows which of the complex's hotels you booked: the loop road serves several properties and the signage assumes you already know. We confirm Gran Ventana in writing before the day and drop at the main lobby where the bellman meets the car. Child seats cost $5 per seat per journey; send the children’s ages when you book.

How the pickup works

2. 2We track the flight, so a delay or an early landing does not change anything.
3. 3Your driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, just past customs.
4. 4Direct 10–15 minute drive into Playa Dorada and drop-off at the Gran Ventana lobby.

Bigger groups and luggage

For 7–14 passengers on local routes to Playa Dorada, Puerto Plata city, Costambar, Cofresí, Maimón, Sosúa or Cabarete, add $20 Standard or $40 VIP per vehicle per journey. Larger groups and all longer group routes require a written custom quote. Declare all luggage and child seats before confirming the vehicle.
