Where Sosúa by the Sea sits and where we stop

Sosúa by the Sea is a small beachfront hotel in El Batey, above Playa Alicia, and it is reached by turning off the main road into the narrow streets of the town centre. That is the only complication on a 15 to 20 minute drive: the last two hundred metres are one-way and busy in the evening, so the driver uses the closest legal stop at the entrance and carries the bags rather than circling. Small properties like this have no bellman waiting, which is exactly why a named driver with your booking beats a curb taxi.

How the pickup works

1. 1Send your flight number, date and party size on WhatsApp — we confirm the price in writing.
2. 2We track the flight, so a delay or an early landing does not change anything.
3. 3Your driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, just past customs.
4. 4Direct 15–20 minute drive east into El Batey and drop-off at the Sosúa by the Sea entrance.

Bigger groups and luggage

Up to six passengers ride in one Standard vehicle at $35. For 7–14 passengers we send a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP. Send the luggage count with the booking — golf bags, strollers and car seats are all fine, we just size the vehicle before the day instead of at the curb.
