Hotel Riu Mambo sits beside Riu Bachata on Playa Maimón, 30 to 35 minutes from the airport, and both are reached through the same entrance from the coast road. Name the exact hotel when you book and the driver goes to the Mambo reception rather than the first lobby on the loop. The drive itself runs through Puerto Plata and past Cofresí, so late-afternoon town traffic is the only variable; we track your flight and the price does not move if you land late. Car seats are free for children — send their ages with the booking.

How the pickup works

3. 3Your driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, just past customs.
4. 4Direct 30–35 minute drive west to Playa Maimón and drop-off at the Riu Mambo reception.

Bigger groups and luggage

Up to six passengers ride in one Standard vehicle at $35. For 7–14 passengers we send a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP. Send the luggage count with the booking — golf bags, strollers and car seats are all fine, we just size the vehicle before the day instead of at the curb.
