Senator Puerto Plata Spa Resort sits on Maimón bay, west of Puerto Plata and close to the Amber Cove cruise port, so the drive from POP is 30 to 35 minutes through town and past Cofresí. It is a large property with a long internal approach and a gate that works from the arrival list, which is why we send the driver name, vehicle and plate ahead of your landing. Guests combining a resort stay with a cruise out of Amber Cove use this run in both directions — say so when you book and we plan the second leg around the boarding window.

How the pickup works

1. 1Send your flight number, date and party size on WhatsApp — we confirm the price in writing.
2. 2We track the flight, so a delay or an early landing does not change anything.
3. 3Your driver waits in arrivals with a name sign, just past customs.
4. 4Direct 30–35 minute drive west past Cofresí to the Senator Puerto Plata security post and main lobby.

Bigger groups and luggage

Up to six passengers ride in one Standard vehicle at $35. For 7–14 passengers we send a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP. Send the luggage count with the booking — golf bags, strollers and car seats are all fine, we just size the vehicle before the day instead of at the curb.
